November is here and there is plenty to do in Austin, TX. Starting this weekend, there is the 10th Anniversary of the Austin Food and Wine Festival! See first hand some of the top chef talent as well as winemakers from around the country in this 3-day weekend festival.
Also starting this weekend is Wurstfest! Wurstfest began in 1961 in New Braunfels, TX, just south of Austin. This is a 10-day festival with tons of food, drinks, entertainment, music, and loads of fun held at Wurstfest Grounds at Landa Park. Be sure to explore New Braunfels for other special events.
Do you like running? Then the 31st annual Turkey Trot by Thundercloud Subs is the perfect event for you! This is both a virtual and live event. The ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot is a beloved Austin tradition that we’re happy to see back this year. The proceeds of this run go to Caritas of Austin, a non-profit that works to prevent and end homelessness in the Austin community. Click here to register.
There’s also the Austin Area Jazz Festival happening at Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center on November 26th & 27th. There will be both local and national jazz artists performing fantastic live music. Stay updated via their website here.
The Austin Studio Tour is a must for things to do in November in Austin, TX. The great thing about this event is that it’s self-guided!
